City Loneliness

I went to downtown today for an errand, and I realized that I feel more lonely in the crowds than in my room. Being alone on the streets with pedestrians passing by, feels like a deafening silence to me.

I could not bear it without moving on and pretending that I am busy for something. When I stop and look around, I was alone. There is no one that I understand, and no one that understands me.
