Zef and Chyuunibyou

I came across Die Antwoord (which I quickly guessed the correct meaning of the name), and immediately fell for both their music and their style, which they name zef. The group member Ninja described it as “...you literally don't care what anyone else thinks of you”.

I also read in a visual novel about a character with 中二病, which I like a lot. Her prototype concept is a revolter against expectations, refusing to “grow up”. Part of the moral of her ending is that it is okay to not fit in the society, in pursuit of the true self.

There is not a true self that I can confidently relate to, but I hope I will be happy being different.
